Terms and conditions
Bookings will not be accepted for dogs who are aggressive, showing signs of ill health, incontinent, who destroy furniture or are not housetrained. A site visit for the boarding dog is compulsory prior to booking, in order to check compatibility with resident dog, Frank.
A current vaccination record, to include kennel cough, is required when booking.
Dog must be free of fleas, ticks and worms – if infestation present during stay, treatment will be administered and charged to the owner. Kennel cough vaccination not compulsory, but is advised.
In the event of an emergency/illness, the owner will be contacted (or emergency contact if appropriate). Should the dog require immediate veterinary care and the owner cannot be contacted, it will be taken to Hilltop Vets, North Hinksey (or Medivet if out of hours) and payment for any treatment provided will be the responsibility of the owner.
The owner must disclose any current or recurring medical conditions affecting the dog and provide medication where necessary.
Permission to exercise the dog off the lead is required on the Booking Form.
Cancellation fees will be charged for both regular and ad-hoc day lodgers. If a booking is cancelled without five clear days of arrival, a cancellation fee will be charged. If a (specially agreed) holiday booking is cancelled within a week of the agreed arrival date, a cancellation fee totalling 50% of the full booking will be payable.
In exceptional cases where a dog may exhibit extreme aggression or become uncontrollable, Cumnor Dog Lodge reserve the right to confine the dog to a suitable dog cage or make alternative arrangements for kennelling at the owner’s expense.
The owner agrees to be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by Cumnor Dog Lodge such as vet fees, additional food or lodging or unreasonable damage to premises.
No personal, financial or legal liability will be assumed by Cumnor Dog Lodge.
